I don’t call it a
smile, if I smile alone
I don’t call it a
progress, if we all don’t go ahead
I don’t want the
sun to brighten only my yard alone
I don’t want the
rain to just sing on my umbrella alone
I don’t want the
knife to butter my bread alone
I don’t want the
cloth to cover my nakedness alone
I don’t want my
eyes to see the beauty of the world alone
I don’t want to
get to the promise land alone
Because the world
have always wanted to see how far we can go
I have always
wanted to paint a picture that has us all in it, and not me alone
But there is one
thing I’ve learnt in this short life of mine, that we can’t get all we wish
If all we wished
were granted, I would’ve being an angel because the life of man is sorrowful
How can we be born
together and not grow together
How can we be at
the foot of a ladder together and can’t climb together
How can we start
together and not end together
Humans cry too
much, their lives and hearts are full of pain, hurt and tears
But thanks to the
creator who made me human, for in those pain, we find love, in those tears we
find joy, and in those weaknesses we find our strength
A faller is said
to be fallen only if he fails to stand again. A man’s failure is not the end of
his life. It is better to try to fail than to fail to try, for in that failure
we learn from our mistakes
A gold wouldn’t
show its lustre if it hadn’t passed through fire. Men wouldn’t have paean if
they hadn’t gone through pain
The horse that is
ahead must not rejoice because it
doesn’t know what is ahead
You might get to
the promise land before me but it doesn’t mean you will forever be there
Life is a sphere,
not everything it gives is fair, but with patience there is always a spare
So my brother,
don’t fear, no condition is permanent.
