Soliloquy by Awonaike Seyi.

Death death is better than being here,

How will you proclaim me mad,

When my sanity beats harder

Wild with rage and not

Scratching the edges of the little red bleeding cells

But calm enough not  to explode

Mad isn't me and me isn't mad

Oblivious to the crickets noise

For am sane in my glad insanity.

  1. Good job on this piece, but d picture I'm getting seems of one who is less bothered but confused abt his personality. But I need to ask, using two opposite words next to each other "glad insanity", how am I sane? Good job once again on Soliloquy.

  2. Confusion was never his problem. All he seeks is their acceptance. Thanks for reading ...

The wordings are highly philosophical, i think i love the seemingly contrasting but meaningful combination of words. Nice piece dear, you can do more and surpass dante aligheiri or vergil. Greater heights
